When are you going to start?

Hi,
I woke up this morning thinking....If I was to give up something in order to give life, in order for a mother to give her child a fresh glass of water, what would it be? coffee, buying drinks, going out for dinner, cigarettes? etc... I can save all that money and give life by giving clean water. So, What would you give up to give life?
My name is Mari Malek, I am from Southern Sudan and now residing in the USA, New York City. I am a co-founder of Southern Sudan Initiatives, Inc. a certified 501(c)3 non-profit organization which focuses on providing self sufficiency to the Southern Sudanese community. We have five primary strategies to achieve our objective of bringing lasting change to Southern Sudan, to save lives and provide opportunity for all to dream and achieve their dreams. Our objectives and/or projects are Health Care, Education, Clean Water, Agriculture, and Business. As I have been working on the organization and trying to raise funds to make the projects happen, I realized that we cannot make anything happen without clean water!
Every project is pretty much based on having clean water, there cannot be hospitals without clean water, no schools without clean water, no farms without clean water, no people to make businesses without having clean water, no people to dream and live without clean water....you see the point? This is exactly why I started this blog, TO FOCUS ON PROVIDING CLEAN WATER! My birthday is coming up in april(april 24th, 2012), so...instead of pampering myself and getting gifts from friends, I am going to give up... I am going to give up spending money on things that I do not need, on things that I can live without, then I am going to give that money to provide clean water. I would like you ALL to help me give LIFE, give clean water!!!!! Can you do that? So...my goal for my birthday is to raise $3000 to build SSII first water well! Its not much people, if we ALL help and see it to life, trust me...you will help save lives and feel amazing! Please help me, please spread the word and know that WATER CREATES LIFE!!!!!!! Questions?.....

Q: How much does it cost to build a water well?
A: Most of our project cost $3000-5500.

Q: How much will help one person get clean drinking water?
A: On average it costs $10 to give one person clean drinking water for 20 years in a developing country.

Q: Will I be able to put an inscription on the well that I fund?
A: If you donate $3000 or help raise over $3000 on your own, Yes! we can put up to 50 characters on most of our well project(i.e. “In Honor of the Williams Family” or “donated by Jefferson High School”. Once you raise the funds we will contact you for the details!)
